Who are Corporate Events Online?
Corporate Events Online (CEO) is an event technology and services company that’s been serving hundreds of clients across thousands of successful events since 2004. Via technical services and support, they use their streaming platform, StagePro, to handle corporate events with anything from ten to 10,000 attendees.
Over the years and thanks to a reputable team of passionate senior event professionals, CEO has earned a reputation as the go-to provider for the high-profile events of the world’s most respected organizations. Their aim has always been to maximize the value of technology to produce events that drive results.
In the words of CEO, Founder, and Product Owner Jim Fiore, “CEO helps large corporations around the world distribute their message with online broadcasting, through our applications, people, products, and services. We’re helping them do anything from sales meetings to launches, to trainings, and help unite their organization together as one, and focus on providing them with the tools and the talent to do so.”

Challenge
With a growing list of clients that require even bigger events to take place, CEO decided to look at a holistic solution that could manage video traffic globally without having to invest in hundreds of CDNs and reach all parts of the globe. Jim and his team had also run into new customer needs to have more control over how traffic is directed and more guarantee that latency, video quality, and connectivity would be less likely to waiver. “The key is being able to help them not only provide the application to secure the content and celebrate their brand around it, but also to make sure the experience their audience is getting is as perfect as possible,” he says.
CEO’s customers stream content “in just about every country in the world” so for Jim and his team, finding a new software that could relieve the taxing challenge of building and maintaining CDNs all over the globe became top priority.

Solution
Jim and his company decided to work with System73, a suite of tools that use AI technology to deliver live content around the world using a host of CDNs that CEO don’t have to find, pay for, and maintain. “We get an opportunity to be a part of the major CDNs around the world. We don’t have to own the contracts and relationships with all the different CDNs.”
For delivering content globally and making sure the right CDN is being used every time, they used Edge Delivery—a multi-CDN strategy that always keeps content flowing at optimum bitrates and with minimal latency by automatically switching to the most appropriate and nearby CDN. And in order to add that extra layer of protection and keep all their client confident that they’re the best team for the job, they used Edge Intelligence, an automated peer-to-peer sharing technology that uses the open internet to find exactly where content is bottlenecking and share video content between devices to reduce the load on CDNs.
“The installation wasn’t hard at all,” says Jim Fiore. “We didn’t even have to wait for them to come and install it. I just gave the code to my programming team and they applied it. System73 were always very supportive and reactive when making adjustments.”

Result
Thanks to System73’s intelligent solution, CEO are now able to take on bigger clients with confidence, knowing their streaming technology can handle larger audiences all around the world while still operating at the highest quality of experience. “Our partnership with System73 has been invaluable because we utilize Edge Delivery, which gives us some backup and redundancy behind the DNS layer. We leverage the power of that for delivering. And we use the power of Edge Intelligence to help offset the load within the organizations. In fact, we have one particular client that will not do an event without it because it helps the congestion of their environment. That’s a big deal.”
After four years working together and in a very technical field of work, the System73 team are still ready to make any adjustments Jim and his team might need in order to solve problems efficiently. “At first, the product didn’t have an option to turn off the picker and give our clients a bit more control. The System73 team is so fast in making updates and now our clients have even more faith in us.”
“If you’re distributing and delivering content into locations that share the same common internet line out of a facility and there’s many people inside there, you need to enable this pairing. You’re going to lower network congestion and increase quality.”

Future
So what are Jim and the team looking to add that will future-proof their corporate streaming company? “More of the same,” says Jim. Having made the leap into a multi-CDN delivery system and AI-driven distribution technology, CEO have prepared their product for scalable growth that can continue to carry their content at the highest bitrate and resolution while keeping latency to a minimum.
